Michael 's passion for cars and photography emerged after he retired from the business world and instructing at race tracks. He enjoys capturing the ruggedness and beauty of landscapes and the technology and design of automobiles. 
He has received a number of photographic awards and recognitions including being recognized at the Artist level by the International Federation of Photographic Arts (FIAP). Michael has been a judge for local and national competitions and a destination workshop leader. He also has been a frequent presenter on various photography topics.
